As a Utah native, I am happy to present some local color for your listening pleasure. Location Location is comprised of Marcus Bently and Cam Runyan.The group cites several new wave phenoms as influences but the group's sound definitely capitalizes on the trend toward more complex synth-based sounds. I've had a crush on Marcus since about the 6th grade, but it sounds like partnering with Cam has really helped him find his sound. I knew Marc in his Americana days and I can't stress how good the electronic shift has been for his vocals. On top of that, Marcus is a beautiful lyricist, making Location Location one of the few electronic groups with substantive lyrics. Oh, and did I mention that they work with Kaskade? I guess that's kind of important.
